1. Introduction

Top Down Design LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a Delaware limited liability company located in Orlando, Florida, operates Stellara, an AI-powered astrology mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Stellara app.

By using Stellara, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use Stellara.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you use Stellara, we collect information you voluntarily provide:

Account Information: When you sign in using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier from the authentication provider. Apple Sign-In users may choose to hide their email address, in which case we receive a private relay email.

Birth Chart Data: To provide personalized horoscopes, you provide your birth date, birth time, and birth location. This information is essential to calculate your astrological chart and provide accurate readings.

User Preferences: We store your notification preferences, timezone settings, and app customizations.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use Stellara, we automatically collect certain information:

Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.

Usage Data: Features used, reading history, and app interactions to improve our services.

Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with Stellara. This includes session duration, screens viewed, and general usage patterns.

2.3 Advertising Data

For users of our free tier, Stellara displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers and usage data to serve relevant advertisements. You can limit ad tracking through your device settings.

2.4 Subscription Data

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We receive information about your subscription status but do not have access to your payment information, which is handled entirely by Apple.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To calculate and display your personalized birth chart and astrological readings.
  • To generate AI-powered daily, weekly, and monthly horoscopes tailored to your chart.
  • To provide compatibility readings based on birth chart comparisons.
  • To send push notifications with your daily horoscope (if enabled).
  • To manage your subscription and provide premium features.
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve Stellara's features and performance.
  • To display relevant advertisements to free-tier users.
  • To respond to support requests and communicate with you.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or security threats.

4. AI-Generated Content

Stellara uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized horoscopes and astrological readings. Your birth chart data is processed by our AI systems to create content tailored to your astrological profile. We do not share your personal birth chart data with third-party AI providers in a way that identifies you personally.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In: For secure authentication.
  • RevenueCat: For subscription management.
  • Firebase Analytics: For app analytics and performance monitoring.
  • Google AdMob: For serving advertisements to free-tier users.
  • Apple Push Notification Service (APNs): For sending daily horoscope notifications.
  • Railway: For hosting our backend services.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: With trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating Stellara, subject to confidentiality obligations.

Protection of Rights: To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of our users or others.

You have several rights regarding your personal information:

Access and Deletion: You can request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@stellaraapps.com. You can also delete your account directly within the Stellara app settings.

Notification Preferences: You can enable or disable push notifications at any time through the app settings or your device settings.

Ad Tracking: You can limit ad tracking through your iOS device settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Data Export: You may request a copy of your data by contacting us.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your data is transmitted using SSL/TLS encryption and stored securely on our servers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

10. Children's Privacy

Stellara is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at support@stellaraapps.com, and we will take steps to delete such information.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers are located. By using Stellara, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries where we operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app or on our website. Your continued use of Stellara after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
